||Mantra||

Mantra is a religious or mystical syllable or poem, typically from the Sanskrit language. In the Indian religions, people believe that a mantra is a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that are considered capable of “creating transformation”. Mantras are primarily used as spiritual conduits, words or vibrations that inculcate concentration in the devotee. Their use and type varies according to the school and philosophy associated with the mantra.

Most mantras follow the written pattern of two line “shlokas” although they are often found in single line or even single word form

Vedas claims that “Speech is the essence of humanity.” All of what humanity thinks and ultimately becomes is determined by the expression of ideas and actions through speech and its derivative, writing. Over time, if we know what the effect of that vibration is, then the word may come to have meaning associated with the effect of saying that vibration or word. This is one level of energy basis for words.

According to Vedas, Mantras are energy-based sounds, Mantras create thought-energy waves, and Mantras are tools of power and tools for power.
